This was stolen from untangle and I like it, a lot. :D

Most of my flist are writers with a few artists tossed in. Although I don't always comment on your posts, I do always read them. I do, however, notice styles, details, certain turns of phrase that are uniquely...you, or at least I think I do ( Read more... )

I feel myself drained cause I don't know where to begin.. I don't think the truth hurts as much as it loses touch.. And so we lose a part of us that was once found in our friends.. Doesn't mean we hate them. We love them all the same. It's just another era, with more of life to experience. Whether it's in solitude or with a roomful of people. It all comes down to the same idle fears. The closer we are to some, the further we are from others. Secrets revealed, feelings crushed. Everybody hurts. We distance ourselves, are at a loss for words and have no comfort to embrace. When the thrill is gone, like a flower without light and water, we wither and die. It's safe to say, nobody cares.

She stares at him, and though her eyes are aware he senses her subconscious mind at work. The irritation and impatience is mirrored in both parts of her brain; a moment in which the mind becomes one.

He can tell this is an unusual occurance.

Her conscious has the will, but it is a stubborn child's will to show off. She demands a reaction, whether it be shock, horror or applause. Her subconscious, however, is the sly driving force, the devil on her shoulder whispering that she should do it simply because it is fun, and because she can. Without that voice, she may be taught to understand right and wrong. Morals and ethics, and how to do good for others.

I have no idea, honestly. I am trying to think of who might have written it - going with content and style - and my mind comes up blank. :x

But you know, I thought you were at work :p. Tricking me like that, how unfair.

You should write about it. :D Although we both are focusing on original stuff we can go back to fandom when we feel the need to.

This task would have been made easier if it were not hard on my mind to settle on a singular topic to dissect and elaborate; to analyse and carve some piece of extensive prose. Sadly, I cannot do that for I have no topic to have my fun with.

And therein is the paradox: having the topic of having no topic at all. Which is quite interesting. There's nothing quite as interesting about nothing which is actually there.

After a moment's thought, I have come to the conclusion that contradictory sentences come from the juxtaposition of words with the addition of negatives. So in essence it would be very easy to get lost in the complications of word variations. In addition, this is the point that I think I've stopped making sense so I will stop here. (See? There it goes again.)
