I came home today for the summer.

Today was miserable from the first moment.

It took forever to pack my stuff. I skipped Torrey graduation, and I was supposed to join the rest of the sophomores and receive a pin as part of some ceremony for something or other. I talked with my mom way too long and she was kind of nagging. I had the worst attitude

I hate the TV too. I can't stop reading Great Books, it's all I do to consume my spare time. I started Darwin's origin of Species the other night. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting what I expect, which is sort of circular. I expect to read "this" and I get the same. It's like I'm writing whatever I'm reading, like in the Neverending Story. But then I go re-read something I've already read and I realize I'm not only getting what I expect.

I re-named myself, like Don Quixote, in fact it was re-reading Don Quixote that persuaded me to re-name myself. So I'm now Don Logistos "Kevin".... it's like Bishop Kallistos "Timothy" Ware. Kallistos is Greek for "little beauty" or "little truth". I think Kallistos is Greek for goodness truth and beauty. So Logistos is Greek for "little music, reason, word". It's Logos, but "little logos" =) What do you think?

Oops, I meant I think "Kalia" is Greek for goodness truth and beauty. So, therefore, Kallistos is Greek for "little goodness truth and beauty". Maybe. I could be way off.
