Yeah, I've been quite lazy lately and this despite the fact that there are a few things I want to post here. I just seem to go through phases of using LJ and not using it, just like I used to with Facebook. Not sure why it happens, but don't take offence if I don't reply to posts you guys make as it's probably just because I'm in an off phase ( Read more... )

I'm kind of the same way...I'll have a stretch where I'm checking the journals/facebook every day, and then I'll forget to for weeks or months on end.

Hey, graphic novels! :D If you ever get seriously into them I can recommend a bunch.

Well, I don't tend to go without it for months, but a few weeks does happen.

Why does everyone seem to think graphic novels are new for me? I've always kinda read them, a spill over from all the comic book reading I did as a kid (man do the Americans and the British just not make them like the Belgians and the French do!). If I lived in Belgium right now I'd probably still be reading a ton of them as it's very much part of the culture there.
But, yes, graphic novels, I do enjoy them, just not as much as books as they don't have the same depth. And they're bloody expensive.

Heh, sorry, I didn't mean it quite like that :) It's just graphic novels make up a major portion of my shelf space and I'm always hunting for new ones. I knew you read them but you never seemed as obsessive about it ;) And yes, they are sadly very expensive. *sigh*

Oops, sorry, I think my reply came out harsher than I intended. Damn internet.

But yes, between the expense and the fact that they just aren't as good as books means that I don't read them that much.
