[Max has been pretty silent since the whole Deadman's Gulch thing. He didn't take well to having his things back only to have the, taken away. At least he got to keep Dog.

Max can be found in various places around town with a dog on his heels. He's not on a leash, but he's sticking very close to Max

[Garviel is walking his own dog. In full battle plate. It's a tiny puppy of nondescript breed, rather fat, roly poly, and brown. It barks happily at Dog and Max and will approach them, as will the whirring mass of man and metal.]

[Dog, as well as Max, are quite startled. Dog sets to barking, growling, and menacing while Max just stares.]
