Thank you very much. I only got good at writing erotic fic through actually writing, working out what worked and what didn't, and so on. Trial and error, basically.

Glad you liked my Ivy. As for Damien, right now he's only roughly six or seven years old and I'm convinced that behind the violent brattiness lies an emotionally wounded boy who needs a firm but loving hand to steady him. (Interpret that how you will.)

Thanks. The key for me is that Damien isn't as confident in himself as he lets on. His anger toward Tim for being a "usurper" comes more from the fact that he can't express in words how much he wants unconditional love from someone (much like his father). That's what Mar'i and Helena both offer, unconditional love, and it's soothing to him.

Liked them both, but the first one struck me particularly. Maybe because of the strong war/love contrast/similarity you put into it - because they make love with the same passion they use to fight and because they trust each other so much, as there it wasn't anybody else in the world but them...
I'm really impressed by the extremely deep bond between Mar'i and Damian that you managed to depict.

Thanks for the compliment. For Damian and Mar'i, it's pretty much that they belong to each other and only each other. For them, there's no one else who can understand them the way they can understand each other.
