Really, I understand her being pissed. But Peter was trying to help...I can't help but feel sorry for him.

Can't wait for more of the girls getting to 'know' one another.

At this point in his life, Peter could care less if others approve of the actions he takes in the name of their safety. In that respect, he's very much like Tony Stark, and at least on a subconscious level, he recognizes this, which is why he exploded at Karin when she compared him to Tony. As for Audrey, anybody in their right mind would be angry in her position. She had her body practically hijacked; if he could do that, imagine what else could do. It leads into a sense of powerlessness over her own body that was very disconcerting for her. And yes, see next chapter for Audrey and Karin getting to "know" one another.

Yeah, Peter is a man who's pretty much lost everything and everyone he ever cared about. Having another person find their way into his heart would make him extremely determined not to lose her, too, even if he had to resort to pretty Stark-like methods. However, it doesn't exactly justify what he did, as Audrey will assert. Still, Audrey at least has Karin and the rest of the Knights. What does Peter have, anymore?

Yeah, I've already written out the next two chapters and the chapter immediately following this one has Audrey sporting a nifty black costume that is basically a hybrid of the costume you see Spider-Girl wearing in my icon and the costume of Marvel 2099's Spider-Man. You are correct in that Karin provided Audrey with it.

By the way, judging by your icon, I suspect you're a fan of or at least acquainted with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
