Yeah, both the comic and animated Slades are Magnificent Bastards (copyright to Merfilly; I'll pay whatever toll she likes). I slightly prefer the comic version, even though I like the animated version's look better.

Bladefire doesn't quite realize it, but he loves Rose. At the very least, he's addicted to her. As you can probably tell from the way she let herself be vulnerable in front of him, he means a lot to her, too.
