The anime was pretty different from the manga. The manga version is epic in its own way -the new make is trying to do it more along the manga storyline :/

Wasn't it? I thought FMA anime was great. They wrapped up everything well too. Ditto, I kinda have mixed feelings on the ending, but didn't totally hate it.
