One of the things I found most interesting in Vasari was his descriptions of the advances in materials and techniques used for art -- you could almost call it the "engineering" or "technology" of art.

I was thinking the same thing (i.e., how awesome the phrase was) before I even saw your comment.

If you did have that superpower, though, you'd probably die of drowning in a tragic accident involving a wading pool.
