How come I have a bigger science/math and technology/computer nerd score than you? That doesn't seem right.

Maybe you've disassembled your VCR/DVD player before? :)

No, but I did write programs in Basic eons ago, and taught myself enough C+ to defeat the crazy logon message my father had put on the computer also many eons ago. (Then promptly forgot any and all C+.) I also know how to get a command prompt.

I'm no stranger to BASIC, C++, or the command prompt either. We may never know why I scored as low as I did... Perhaps because I don't really like Star Trek, the test inferred I couldn't be any good at computers... :)

You probably didn't answer the questions about Star Trek/Star Wars in the dork fashion. :-)

And what did you answer to the final question? :-)

Re: your first point: there were definitely questions for which it was easy to guess what the "correct" (i.e. dorky) answer was, but I decided to answer genuinely. :)

And I answered "yes" to the question "Are you a nerd?" If this test had had more questions on Tolkien and MST3K and Anne McCaffrey, and fewer questions on Star Trek, my nerdlihood would have been more obvious.

Here's me. Like Brad, more Tolkien questions would have had me nerdier. I suppose I'll suffer in good humor, however.
