"Explain what exactly! Explain why you were kissing Marcus!"
Rigel swallowed hard but looked Kahn in the eyes as he whispered:
"To comfort him, he is my sire. I feel his pain more acutely than anyone else. I must confess to fulfilling the stereotypical image of a French man - I am very tactile. I wished to comfort him, nothing more."
Rigel nuzzled his head into the hollow between Kahn's neck and shoulders in a very animalistic way that escaped even Rigel's comprehension. Clearly there was Lycan to be found in the ancient vampire.
"Forgive me love? I was inconsiderate of your feelings."
The French man pressed a gentle kiss high on one of Kahn's cheekbones before withdrawing and releasing his lover from his hold.
"These are difficult times for him, considering what he is. He worries that the coven will exile him or worse...kill him."
Kahn wilted, defeated. "I needed your comfort as well." Rigel was nuzzeling him, rubbing aganist him, Kahn could never stay angery not when he needed the man.
"Forgive me love? I was inconsiderate of your feelings."
He sighed, slipping his arms around the man, drawing him close. "Yes," he kissed the man's forehead inhaling his scent, Kahn must have been tired for Rigel's smell was off. "You know I can't stay mad at you very long." He kissed agian.

Kahn drew back, "What do you mean 'what he is'." he searched his lover's blue eyes. There was something in them, Kahn pushed him back to arms length. Surly Rigel didn't know about Marcus, surly the elder hadn't revealed his screte!
"He worries that the coven will exile him or worse...kill him."
Kahn's mood darkened, "He told you didn't he." the newly named regent shook his head sighing heavily.
It took a few minutes for the truth to sink in, but when it did....
"What..." Kahn could only stare Rigel, so many emotions rolling through him. "...What?!" He backed up a step shaking his head. "He b-bit you!" he spat as he shot a hard murderous look in the direction the elder had gone.
Then to top it off, Kahn had kissed the man! No wonder Rigel's scent was off! The regent shook his head in denial!
"Please say you didn't ask to be bitten." he barely spoke, as his mind rebeled. Not You! Not NOW! Not after I found someone! How could his lover be tained by an animal now! He clutched his chest, his heart was aching so much

Rigel swallowed hard and backed off from his lover, fear of rejection driving him to put some distance between himself and his shocked lover.
"Please say you didn't ask to be bitten."
Rigel scowled and threw his lover an indignant look. What did Kahn think he was, a complete and utter fool.
"Of course not...he just bit me. I was proud of my vampire heritage and now that has been wrenched away from me brutally. Now all I am is a freak of nature, a mutant."
Rigel watched as Kahn clamped a hand to his neck frantically. So that was where they stood then...fear had crept into their relationship.
Besides Rigel was afraid that Kahn would in time become infected, how could they have a meaningful relationship with such fear.
Rigel would not infect Kahn. Perhaps it would be best if...
"Goodbye Kahn, I'm sorry. We can't be together like this...I'm so sorry."
Rigel turned and began to move away into the grounds once more. Away from his new found love.
He hardly heard what Rigel was saying, he was still in shock! How could Marcus do this!
"Now all I am is a freak of nature, a mutant."
Kahn snapped his head up as he saw Rigel leaving. The capitan snarled and in a single movement pounced upon his lover, pinning him to the ground.
"You are not a freak Rigel!" he breathly spoke, "You - you..." Kahn always had a hard time expressing his feelings. "You are still the man I love." and prove his words he bent and kissed the fool!
Rigel's heart was snapping in two as he moved away from Kahn. How had it all gone wrong, come to this?
These thoughts had only just materialised themselves when the death dealer was propelled towards the ground, a heavy weight upon his body. All the air gushed from the trapped warrior's chest as he looked up into the dark eyes of his lover.
"You are not a freak Rigel! You - you...are still the man I love."
Rigel's chest filled with an unspeakable warmth as a sob left his mouth.
One of the French man's hands found the side of Kahn's face as he gently caressed it.
"Thank the gods. I don't think I could have gone on if you had let me walk away."
Rigel pressed upwards and placed a long lingering kiss to the other warrior's mouth.
"You thick skulled French man!" Kahn gently chided. "I have never stopped loving you." the captian slipped his hands around the older man's waist resting against him.
"Your scent is off." he absently mumbled. "You will have to be careful around the coven." He nipped at the man's lips. "I will not loose you to fear or supersition."
Kahn sighed, greatful to be with Rigel again as he glanced back at the mansion. "What are we going to do?"
Rigel smiled up at the man stretched out above him and ran a finger over a high cheek bone, unbelieveably touched by the man's soft words that came from the heart.
"I found my soul mate when I found you Kahn."
"What are we going to do?"
Rigel smirked cheekily as he glanced aroun them before answering.
"Do you think that it is totally inappropriate of me to suggest that I rip your clothes off and have you right here and now?"
The vampire flushed, leaning down to nuzzel that ageless face. "As have I." he mumbled in return. Kahn felt somewhat foolish speaking such words, espeically during a time like this! He felt somewhat guilty as the thought of fucking the man right here flitted through his head.
The regent watched with a growing grin as Rigel looked around, mischevious smile on his face.
"Do you think that it is totally inappropriate of me to suggest that I rip your clothes off and have you right here and now?"
Kahn threw back his head and laughed! "oh my owne!" he chuckeled. "Right here?" he raised an eyebrow. "In the rain?" he lick a drop of water from Rigel's lips. The vampire forgot everything, his duty, his arrand to find Viktor, Marcus, Everything but the man under him.
"Could we not continue this inside where's its a bit dryer?" he suggested, nipping at the man's lips. He'd find the elder later.
Kahn groand as Rigel rolled them reversing their positions even if he couldn't stop smiling, his hand ever restless over the French man's lean form.
"I want you...now...my lover. No other time will do!"The regent smiled warmly as Rigel kissed him, Kahn went on instinct as he continued to explore Rigel's body, working his way past the leathers, snaking under to touch smooth perfect skin. The vampire licked at the man's neck, his fangs grazing skin, his senses filling with all that was his lover

Something deep inside Rigel wilted as he realized that an aspect of what they once had, only recently had, had died and was gone for good. There would always be an element of distrust and worry about cross infection in their relationship now - in fact would their relationship survive this new development. Could vampire and hybrid coexist as lovers?
All they could do was try, or else this relationship would die a death before it had even properly begun.
The Frenchman forced a weak smile as he whispered:
"You should be fine as long as my blood or this hybrid venom does not enter your body."
Kahn heard the pain in Rigel's voice. It echoed in his own heart as well.
He pulled the man closer, pressing a deep kiss to his lips before he nuzzled that fair smooth cheek. "Think of it this way," he purred, hands slipping once more to get under Rigel's leathers. "I get to learn a whole new man." He tugged at the man's pants and worked the belt loose before he slid a hand inside and began to fondle. "I hope you don't mind." he smiled.

Rigel allowed a small, nervous smile that was really more of a grimace.

Rigel dove for the other warriors mouth and plunged his tongue into it as his teeth nipped at lips.
