Viktor stayed lied on his bed, his eyes set on the door. He couldn’t have asked the healers to move Kraven to his room, this would be outrageous… he had originally planned to move him himself, but seeing him in such a state… Kraven seemed too vulnerable again. And the elder, yet again, thought of him as something that could break with little effort. He couldn’t move him, he even hesitated to touch him. The boy was sleeping, they had drugged him; Viktor felt grateful, he didn’t want Kraven to feel more pain
( ... )
He changed stance again, laid on his stomach. That’s how Kraven had been sleeping those last few days.
It was totally uncomfortable.
He laid on his back again. He felt tired, his own wound hurt him, even though it was a superficial one. But it was a disgraceful one too. Lucian had done this.
Lucian had also done this to Kraven.
And Viktor was searching inside him to find the courage to hate him even more. But he was feeling now so tired, tired and sick of the war he had started himself. He hadn’t regretted it. But he couldn’t help feeling responsible for what Kraven had suffered because of his war.
It is not my fault… he got to the wrong place the wrong moment… he tried to convince himself, turning to face the door yet again.
what was that? he thought, hearing a sound coming from Kraven’s room and even this small suspicion was enough to get him on his feet. The healer had reassured him that the boy would be sleeping. What now? He opened the door it to find Kraven kneeled on the floor

Viktor was there. He felt a heavy burden lift from simply being close to the man again.
He was so damn tired, he raised a shaky hand to touch Viktor's face, but saw the bandages around his arm, he dropped his hand. He was runied.
"You're here." He breathed, smiling, wanting to touch him so much. Then he realized, Viktor was on the floor, in the bathroom no less! Because of him! He moved to stand and soflty cursed as his strength failed him. Kraven looked to the elder. "Help me?"
