I really enjoyed the first three in the series, so will have to get this one. My favorite of his remains A Philosophical Investigation, though.

Huh. Didn't know about that one; my local library does have Dark Matter: The Private Life of Sir Isaac Newton and Hitler's Peace: A Novel of the Second World War, both of which sound pretty interesting to me. And wouldn't you know, Ross King's Ex Libris is right next to Kerr's books...

But it's just so -- HARD -- to not highlight and annotate....

I can't imagine used copies of Kerr's books would be that expensive to buy....
