Severe Thunderstorm

Today has pretty much sucked. I think I failed my Anatomy test. It was really hard. I'm not to sure where Dr. Jochen keeps getting his questions from, but they're not from what he keeps telling us to study. Go figure ( Read more... )

You know, the safest place to be during an electrical storm is in a car. If lightening strikes the car the 4 rubber tires ground it so...no worries. Now, of course, knowing that is completely different than experiencing it.

Well with all the lightning hitting everywhere the thought never crossed my mind. I had heard that before. I guess you can say I felt safer driving down the interstate and not being able to see anything than sitting on the side of the road waiting for the storm to pass.

Theories are all well and good when your safe and sound. It's when you're in a situation that they don't get necessarily put into practice. Intellectually I know the car is safe during an electrical storm...that doesn't mean I want to test out that theory.

Driving in the rain is not fun. We hit some really heavy rain on the drive down to AC and let's just say I was glad when it stopped since I was doing all of the driving.
