Ohio-Meadville District Summer Institute is only four weeks away.
Because of a mishap on the registration form, we're having a hard time tagging young adults as young adults. As of last weekend, only six people were registered as YAs, including the weekend-only folk. We know there's more of you than that, but we need to know who you are.
If you are attending OMDSI as a YA (taking part in the YA programming and sleeping in the YA dorms), please let the registrar know ASAP. Shoot an e-mail to
registrar@omdsi.org and let Evelyn know who you are!
(Or you can let me know, and I'll pass the word along. Either way takes about the same amount of effort on your part.)
Other info:
- We'll be having a week-long clothing swap. Bring gently used clothes and maybe you'll find something to take home. Any remaining clothes will be donated to a shelter after SI.
- Bring your finest black & whites for Monte Carlo night.
- If anyone has any spare wood and room in your trunk, bring a log or two for our end-of-week campfire.
* Please only bring wood if you are traveling within the state of Ohio - due to beetle problems you shouldn't take any wood over the state line. No, I don't know the whole story with that, but it sounds important and I figured I should pass it along.
If anyone has any questions, please let me know! See y'all in July!
