This was good, although I have to admit that all I remember about the episode 'Ted' is that Ted was played by John Ritter and that he was a robot. This makes it sound like he may have also been drugging Joyce into submission, although I could be wrong about that.

He kind of was drugging them. It was in the food, making them more mellow and accepting of anything he said. Will discovered it when she analyzed the food at school. And Xander, I think, ate what was left of the evidence.

I love how appropriately creepy you made Ted, especially the sing-song way he sung her name. And he would totally send Buff to boarding school. He probably did that with at least one of his stuffed in the closet dead wifeys.
