So, um yeah. It's only been four months. :D Here is another drabble from my old
Drabble Request Post. I've decided to use that post as a running request post, along with an index of sorts, since I'll be linking all of the completed drabbles in that post. :) So, feel free to request whenever, I'll be adding a link to that post to my sidebar. No guarantees on how quickly I'll get them done, but I will try to never forget the post!
Oh, yeah. Fic!!

smcki10 Prompt: Battlestar Galactica - Lee/Kara - Pilot fluff in the CAG office
Hope you like it honey! The first half was written four months ago, the second half just today. :)
Word count: 450
“Are you frakking kidding me with that lineup?” Kara asked standing in the doorway to the CAG’s office. “You can’t pair Slasher with Rainbow, we’ll be listening to nonstop com traffic all shift.”
“I’m guessing you think you can do better.” Lee said, dropping his arm from the board, name half finished.
“Of course I can,” she grinned, “But luckily that’s not my job.”
Lee chuckled, “You as CAG? That’ll be a hell of a sight, seeing all them pigs flying outside.”
“Ha. Ha. Adama.” Kara shot back at him. “You think you’re so funny, don’t you?” she asked, walking towards him, “Let’s see who is laughing last.” Kara reached him, and taking pity on him, grabbed the marker out of his hand.
“Step back and watch the master at work,” she chuckled. Glancing over she saw the relieved glint to his eyes as he leaned against the desk. The sight made her pause for a minute, watching him as he brought a hand up to rub his hand over his tired face and up through his hair. She felt the familiar tingling in her stomach at the sight of him and reveled in the knowledge that she was one of the few people with whom he let his guard down. Of course he was one of the fewer that she was fully herself with.
Pulling herself out of her thoughts, Kara focused on the task at hand. Looking at the board in front of her, she diligently began erasing and editing the CAP lineup where she saw fit. Ten minutes later Kara put the marker back in its resting place and turned to look at Lee. “What the frak are we gonna do when these markers run out?” She asked him.
“Hell if I know,” Lee said, “I suppose we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.”
“I guess.” Kara said.
“Thank you for doing that for me.” Lee said, gesturing his head toward the white board.
“Never thought I’d see the day when Starbuck had to save Apollo’s ass from his CAG duties” she chuckled.
“Please, I would have done fine on my own.” He shot back at her.
“Uh huh.” She teased, “Sure you would have.”
Lee stared at Kara, lost for a second in the giant grin she wore on her face. Only Kara could cause all of the emotions he had going through him at the moment. He was amused, annoyed and completely aroused all at the same time.
“Where did you go just now?” Kara asked, her grin faltering.
“Nowhere.” He said, his own grin starting, “I’m still here with you.” He paused. “And I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be.”
