I've decided to get a PS2. I feel like I'm abandoning my Dreamcast somehow by doing this. I can't really explain it. I feel really bad. But I HAVE to! I've beaten all my games. Time to move on

Mind if I recommend some games?

For fighters, get Tekken 5, CVS2, SC2 and Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. (If you like MVC2, I'd stick with the DC version myself.)

For RPGs, try Disgaea, FFX/X-2, and Suikoden III.

For Action, you can't go wrong with Pac-Man World 2 and Ape Escape 2.

Well, I was actually planning to get Virtua Fighter first.

If you like VF, then you'll love VF4Evo.

(I merely respect VF, but I don't really like it that much. I do have Evo and a pretty good Lei-Fei, but not really a whole lot of interest in playing the game.)

Try to find a copy of Disgaea. It's one of my favorites.

Castlevania: Lament of Innocence is one of my favorites and my first for the system, although I've had a PS2 for not quite a year now and don't have many games, so perhaps I'm not the best judge. I still switch between my PS2 and Dreamcast every so often (mostly to play Third Strike or Jojo).
