Sea air and sushi and Salem's ghosts

Editted to add subject and dinner disappointment.

So on a lark I took dalbino83 up on her offer of a ghostly good time in Salem. I worked my typical extra shift on Saturday, then woke up on Sunday to pack and drive up. Silly me, I forgot my cell phone and my camera, so that was a bummer. The drive up took about 5 hours, and was a mix of sun, drizzle, and ( Read more... )

It was good to see you! I hope you'll roadtrip to the ocean again soon. I wasn't planning on writing up the other half dozen ghost stories for LJ; don't you think they might be uninteresting if you don't know anything about Salem or if you weren't on the tour?

Your name on the beach! Yay! :)

Well, yeah, if you just talked about the things we saw and the info that was presented, but you can fill in some of the holes in the story with stuff you know about Salem and the witch trials to make them better journal entries.

I thought the disco-ball ghost one was the most interesting, despite the fact that that stop had the least amount of info. If I were a restaurateur, I'd certianly want to buy that place and make it a themed restaurant!

Is Jerrie Hildebrand still up in that area? Last I heard (years ago) she was about to go to seminary (at Andover?) The Convo we had at the Universalist church in Salem still has to be one of my favorite events we've done. My roommate from that event Patrick Price is now the minister at Community UU Church in Plano.

I saw Keisha in Boston, about a hundred pounds lighter than I'd ever seen her. I can't recall if she's still in Salem. I check the UUWorld for ministerial moves each issue, but I don't recall having seen her name in that listing yet. (Susan's interning at Boca Raton.)

I knew Patrick had moved on from South Carolina, but I coulnd't recall where.
