[MOD POST] USxUK Short Story Anthology is HERE!
Here it is, the long awaited USxUK Short Story Anthology.
I'd like to thank all of the AMAZING authors and artists that gifted this project with their fantastic contributions. I'd also like to thank all of you for your patience as I worked to get this prepared. There are sixty fanfics in this anthology (almost 150k words) and sixty-four pieces of fanart, so there is a whole load of wonderful USxUK here for everyone to enjoy. :)
The important stuff:
1- I had a lot of problems with my scanner while I was getting this done. I tried my best to make everything as presentable as possible, but there are pages here and there that are a bit crooked and overall the quality could be better. I feel bad, but that's why there was a delay. I kept scanning and rescanning to no avail. They SHOULD still be very easily readable, but if you struggle at all reading the .jpg versions, you you have the .pdf, html, and epub formats that you can download, and all of those are clean as they're not done from scans. Thank you to kierwynn with the help on the pdf and epubs. :D
2- IF YOU ARE A WRITER OR AN ARTIST AND THERE IS A MISTAKE IN THIS ANTHOLOGY WITH REGARDS TO YOUR WORK, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN FIX IT. I changed VERY little on people's fics. I changed the font (everything in the anthology is times new roman 10pt) and in some cases, if there was a lot of excess spacing, removed some to save space, but that is it. Still if something went wrong let me know!
3- If you download the jpeg version- Once you download the file just unzip it and everything should be there in the folder in reading order. It's basically set up like a doujinshi or manga scanlation, with the files as .jpgs (or .pngs, since that's how some artists sent me their pieces). The art is mixed in with the stories, and there is a table of contents at the beginning.
4- Writers and artists, now that the anthology has been formally released, you are welcome to post your fanworks publicly. That being said, it would be awesome if you could let people know in your description or author's note that it was done for this anthology so that other fans can come check it out. :)
5- Once you've downloaded it, feel free to lavish with love the amazing artists and authors who contributed their fanworks to this anthology in comment to this post. :D
