Title: Electronically Foiled Author: abarero Genre: Romance/Humor Rating: PG-13 Summary: Fencing, or as England had first learned it as the Arte of Defense with Henry the VIII, was not something he ever expected to become modernized. Or well, at least not modernized to this degree.
Since I'm not participating in the Olympic events this week, I thought I would throw out the premise I had for a sports story/comic/etc. to anyone that wanted to take it and run. It'd probably work for the second day theme fairly well if you're stuck for an idea.
This was inspired by the Italian team in women's foil and Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte to name a few.
Premise: You pick the sport, but it would have to be one with both individual and team matches

( The only reason there isn’t an English grip is because I found it hilarious to beat France with his own foil. )
Because it's adorable with spot-on characterization, and you might very well learn a little bit about fencing from it. :D
