So, a category 5 storm hits New Orleans. Its sad about all the people who have lost there homes, and I truly hope order is restored and that family's reunite. However, what I dont like is the fact that BR has to suffer from the fucking thugs, crazy drivers and ignorant people who think there back in New Orleans. Fuck that. The reason I stay in BR

Officials say that Baton Rouge could very easily permanently double in size, from 350,000 to 700,000 people. Anyone with money invested in BR stands to make a shit-ton more of it. However, all these complaints about all the thugs doesn't make anyone feel much more at home. Now it's true that out of any population (especially one like NOLA) prolly at least 1% of it that is a criminal element. Besides that, Baton Rouge niggas and New Orleans niggas have bad blood already. I'm not saying there aren't problems with the refugees; I'm just saying it's being blown a bit out of proportion. I've lived, worked, laughed, and had a great time with these people the last two years. They may suck at driving, true, but they're just poor. How desperate would you be with no shelter, no food, half your family missing, and stuck in a city where everyone hates on you? I'm not excusing anyone's behaviour, I'm just asking that we all try to understand each other's situation here.
