As they were led into the room of polished stone, he stood more or less at a parade rest, looking no more or less ill at ease with his surroundings than was *normal* - which was to say, irritated, but comfortable in his level of irritation.
His antennae however stood at attention, twitching noticeably.
He turned his head, scowled at his goons, and waved his hand behind his back as if to say "look casual". They nodded, creepily, in unison.

She nodded solemnly, and tugged at her daypack strap, giving a tight closed-mouth grin as she did so. She mouthed the words "I have beam boosters".
AJ hung out at the back of the group. She watched the coordination and general feeling of creepy roboticism of Lt. Cdr. Shan's tactical team, laughed a little to herself and said "We can always threaten to *assimilate* the bad guys".

"If anyone starts assimilating anything or one, I will be putting bullets into heads," Diziara muttered and started pacing the room to check out exit options, tactical advantages, and see what the hell they were dealing with. As the lack of furnishing and much of anything else left her feeling like about the only tactical advantage she might have would be ducking for cover behind one of the blue bastard's goon squad and whipping out her Glock, she eventually fell to the back of the group to wait. Brooding quietly, she blindly felt up the gun tucked into her pants at the small of her back to reassure herself it was still there and in working order.
