First off, I love you so hard for writing about Gai (perfectly in character too, woo!) in any verse. Especially when I get lines like this:

Hell, this conversation was all wrong; it should be him demanding answers and Ryu being the bleeding heart, not the other way around.

=DDDD and yet DDDD= Poor babies. And I loved everything else, of course. And Takeru cameo!!! You have made my 80s sentai loving heart VERY happy.

*grins* Thanks, I'm really glad he comes off well. I've seen maybe the first three episodes and that's pretty much it so I'm glad he's relatively IC. :) As for the Takeru cameo I wanted someone who'd be kind of contemporary for them and Takeru was the only one who came to mind. :)

(I know. But messed up relationships is what the Mirror Universe is all about - kind of - and it's fun to play with, turning those kind of relationships on their heads.)
