*ahem* I wondered about that, too. It also made me wonder if Natalia will ever be considered a "regular" member of the team. The problem, I think, is that she didn't replace anybody, the way Ryan, or even Lindsay on CSI: NY, did. They added her, but they didn't need her. They only really bring her out when they do, which is why, as much as I ADORE all her scenes, they always seems a bit the same. They're token scenes, not real character scenes like Eric and Calleigh and Ryan get. Frank is in the same boat as Natalia, only he has the advantage of being the only detective.
Er, those are my two cents, at any rate. I'd say it's just a matter of time, but this is her fourth year on the show, and her third, THIRD, as a CSI. After three years...well, I can't but feel a little down.
Especially after we had some great Natalia episodes in the past, Nick was a great catalyst for some of her best episodes, but we need TPTB to give her some new storylines, hopefully now that they've told the stories they missed out on during the writers stike we may see some more Natalia centric episodes.
I'd also love for some more Natalia Calleigh scenes, the girls are just as capable in CSI and I would think they would make good friends.
