This Brings Back Memories...

Josiah is going to help me finish me packing today after I get my lazy ass to the gym.

Listening to "Hold Me Now" by the Thompson Twins on iTunes. Their Greatest Mixes was the first album (cassette) I ever owned. My dad was really big into them at the time. Now a question... What was the album you ever owned? Post your comments.

I think the first album I owned was the new kids on the block. I can't really remember but it was a cassette and I can remember playing some of the songs over and over again. I used to also tape a lot of songs off the radio, along with the station ID's so I know what station I was listening to. I used to stay up late to tape songs also and call the radio station to request songs I liked because late at night they don't cut the songs off like they do during the day. My favourite station at the time was 98Q - Danbury, Connecticut. also if I tried hard I could get Z100 which boardcasted from the Empire State Building. The first CD I owned for the The Jackson 5 greatest hits. LOL

first album (well, cassette) was "Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em," haha. I have no idea who "They" are or why they should fear the Hon. Reverend Hammer.

First album was "The Hit Mix" and it had many songs by many artists, including "hold me now" by the twins and many other bizarre songs from that era.
