Honestly, I figured they would keep it. The thing is that it was a majority rule. The right way to go about it would be making another ballot measure to get it repealed and perhaps a separate one that supports marriage for gay couples.

While the protecting the minority is valid and we are doing our fullest to do so, in the end, democracy is ruled by the majority - left or wrong.
