In addition to tuition assistance I've been taking a lot of CLEP tests while in my holding party to get some gen eds out of the way.

Yeah. I've used those as well. Have you also heard of DSST and Excelsior college exams?

What resources do you use to study for your CLEPs?

I haven't heard of either. Just found one book in my library that was a study guide for a few different tests.

If you are interested in completing more tests you might want to check out collegeboard.org, they have online study guides. Also, the post military education centers often have great testing resources.

Anyone have any opinion on the Community College of the Air Force?

(Was never in the USAF, so not qualified to talk about it, but it's supposed to be an accredited school.)

I'm currently attending Naval Postgraduate School, going to school full time to get a master's degree in Meteorology. Each military branch is represented here, but as far as I know, the enlisted student body is in the single digits (compared to several hundred officers).

I'm not sure if enlisted have the opportunity to attend the various staff colleges, but mid-grade officers can go to these to work on various masters degrees in socio-political fields related to national defense and foreign policy.

Your tech schools might award college credit too, depending on the specialty.
