Hmm, been a while since I've posted. I guess I'll just talk about something that is of great interest to me at the moment, that being MMORPGs. Now, I'm not gonna discuss anything about WoW, because I am a cheap ass and haven't even played WoW. Nevermind my current (and possibly eternal) subscription to PlayOnline.

I'm playing the Megaten beta too. It's pretty neat so far although I have the same gripes you do about controls, and of course it's an asian grindfest but IT'S MEGATEN!!

XD I knew you'd like that Billy pic. Since he probably can't use his ether guns anymore, he probably has to channel his latent LASER POWERS to do a non-physical attack. A perfect replacement for the Bart Missiles, I'm sure.

I was really impressed with how MegaTen turned out NOT to be anything like what else Aeria has out now. Underneath the pretty art style and the story, its the same sort of grind-reliant MMORPG as every other one out there, but the fact that it's MegaTen DOES make a difference, as you've stated. I mean, I think this is the first time I've played an MMORPG that asked me to verify that I was over eighteen years old and had dead NPCs and blood splatter everywhere in the tutorial.

That, and it'll keep me busy while I wait for Persona 4. *A*

How far have you gotten in MegaTen? I've only gotten to the room with the Ghouls at the moment, but that's because I started playing it well after midnight. XD Haven't found anything buggy yet, unless the camera really isn't supposed to suck that

I just did a fight where I had to kill a bunch of Shikigamis and a Taraka that busted into this building lol. It's pretty cool because usually there doesn't seen to be a lot of human/demon interactions besides the ones with your character but these guys are like HI I'M IN YOUR CITY and guys are like WTF NO

I can't wait to get to that part then. XD The mere fact alone that this game has cutscenes makes me like it all the more, because then it feels more like an RPG and a little bit less like a grindfest. At least, it does until after the cutscene. XD

Maple Story I've learnt to stay away from because it's addictive and...yeah, I've had my fair share of Ragnarok Online already. But Megaten? I want to try it, but I can't read Japanese or find my way around. XD Which sucks...

Yes, the Jazz Hands Quadav is a Notorious Monster that is well noted amongst adventurers in Vana'diel for it's pinstriped suits, silly hats, and strange hand gestures that it likes to perform over fresh kills, usually noobs like myself
