I tried to start doing this in October. I was going to do one new thing a month. I started with doing the dishes before bed...it probably wasn't the best goal, because that was about the same time I write and I would fall asleep. But I have got a lot better at getting the dishes done from concentrating on it. I just need to pick a different time.
January is going to be 'stick to the bedtime routine' because my kids are very good at messing up their sleep cycles on the slightest routine change.
I read about it in the book "The Power of Habit" and it takes about 21 days, but they do the 30 to be on the save side. (So you can still do something in February and it work just as well.)
