I leave the internet for like three days, and this happens. I swear. And I found out about it from a facebook ad. I thought it couldn't even be true, because, well, facebook.

Claire, I'm honestly curious: are you really swearing off of him?

P.S. I'm a little upset that it is coming out right in the middle of summer.

No, I'm upset because -- I know this sounds stupid -- I am literally going to be incapable of reading it then. I can only read ASoIaF books in the October - January window. I don't know, winter is just such an integral part of the story that it feels all wrong to read them any other time.

This raises some obvious concerns about the TV show as well...

Besides, I don't trust that release date, even if it IS on his website. Maybe it'll get pushed back to October and you'll be set!
