About five paragraphs into what I discovered was yet another post-apocalyptic Pros AU, I felt the overpowering need to go off in search of a book I read when I was seven [which really says a lot about my attention span.] Seeing as I can neither remember the title or the author's name, I doubt I'll ever see it again.

It was a post-apocalyptic novel I found in the library one year between classes. What I remember was that it was split up into three short stories set in different time periods during and after the initial disaster ( ... )

Amazon does make for nifty reading. I swear I do hate that that it tries to "Tivo guess" you...you know how if you order one book or movie, it will pull out several recommendations based on some queer algorithim of stuff you won't remotely like.

We have a booklet that the govt is handing out for free recently, in newspapers and as junk snail mail, about how to do things in case of a terrorist attack and other emergencies. Caused quite a bit of a hoohah it did.

and I thought I had more to say on that but no, that's my little input. :)
