The Bifrost Family Awesomesauce Challenge » Gen. 3 Ch. 3
WARNINGS: Language, adult themes, and some friendly cousin rivalry.
Previously in The Bifrost Family Awesomesauce Challenge:
Nero and Lusa both got jobs they hate. Nero basically delivered a sing-a-gram to everybody in Hidden Springs. Cornflower became an adult for the second time. Victoria Bifrost was born, and eventually became a child. Kala moved out. Ruth was pregnant twice and gave birth to Anastasia and Magnus respectively, with Anastasia aging into a child and Magnus a toddler by the end of the chapter. Nero had his first show and kind of sort of secretly loved it. November and Pumpkin had to move out because the house was getting way too crowded. Cornflower completed her LTW. Proceed!
We begin this chapter with Victoria and her cute face, just 'cause.
And we'll continue with Magnus and his cute face. I'd have a picture of Anastasia and her cute face too, but she spends most of her time behind the computer screen writing novels. Definitely not complaining though, the kid brings in good money from her books.
While he was out singing for tips, Nero got recognized for the first time.
Nero: "Oh, you guys wanna take my picture? Sure, sure... ahahahaha.. ahahaha... aha look at your life Nero, look at your choices."
Nero: "Whoa. I've heard of finding a ten dollar bill in your pants pocket, but this is ridiculous."
*ba dum tss*
Nero: "OH SHIT OH SHIT WHAT THE SHIT IS IT DOING?"
Nero: "Um... hello."
Genie: "Hi! My name's Alexis, I'm your genie. I believe you rubbed my lamp?"
Nero: "Uhh... yeah. That was me. I'm Nero."
"Rubbed my lamp" sounds like an innuendo. Ooh baby I'll rub your lamp.
Alexis: "Alright Nero, you know how this whole deal works, right? Three wishes, use 'em wisely, yadda yadda."
Nero: "You know, you don't really talk like a genie. I was kind of expecting-"
Alexis: "I know what you were expecting: me appearing before you in an explosion of indian music, dropping 'master' at the end of every sentence, that kind of thing. You watch too much TV, kid."
Nero: "Okay. Uh. For my first wish, I wish for World Peace. That's a nice thing to do, right?"
Alexis: "As you wish. JGKSDGLHUURRGHRGHRGHRRGHRBBRHRGGHR."
Nero: "Dear god, I think I broke her."
Nero: "Wait a second, nope. Nope, she's breaking me. Oh god."
Nero: "WAIT NO SCRATCH THAT THIS FEELS AWESOME."
His face. I lol'd. xD
Alexis: "Wait until all the other genies hear that I get to be the Nero Bifrost's genie! omgomgomg SQUEEEEEE!"
Nero: "You're something else, Alexis."
Ruth (jossoco) pretty much deserves the Mother of the Year award because while Nero is out singing (and generally wanting to kill himself) every day, Ruth is at home caring for the children. So kudos to you bb, keep being spectacular.
In other news, Magnus is probably the cutest toddler I've ever had and I'm not even sorry for spamming him. ♥
Nero had another show that evening, this time at a different venue.
And look who showed up to watch her son perform! Aw, I missed you November. <3
November: "That's my baby up there on that stage!"
Richard: "That's nice. He serenaded me once. BEAT THAT."
November: "...Not quite sure I want to."
Another sucessful show. Nero, you're doing a really bad job of pretending that you hate this job.
Also, Lusa got arrested. But that's all part of her job, I suppose.
Magnus had his birthday the next morning, gaining the Unlucky trait. He is now an unlucky and neurotic virtuoso. I may or may not have giggled at the fact that there are two butts in this picture and I may or may not be a twelve year old boy.
Andre and Lusa has their birthdays as well, both seem to be aging rather gracefully.
Nero: "So Alexis, about that second wish-"
Alexis: "I'm listening..."
Nero: "Am I allowed to wish for a longer life, or something along those lines?"
Alexis: "Sure can! Wish granted!"
Alexis: "KHGJSGDKAGAGAGAGRRRGRGRRGHGJHMMBMLLRGGRL."
Nero: "I'm sorry, but that's still terrifying."
Victoria had her birthday as well, and aged into this fine specimen. Her fourth trait is Bookworm, making her a disciplined, mean spirited, outdoors-loving bookworm.
Anastasia pretty much tries to annoy her cousin at all costs.
Anastasia: "RAAAAARRRR I'M A BIG PINK DINASAUR COME TO DESTROY YOUR ENTIRE CITY! RAAAAARRARRARRRRRR."
Victoria: "Oh my god ANASTASIA YOU ARE THE MOST ANNOYING THING. IT IS 3 IN THE MORNING. GET YOUR ASS IN BED."
Anastasia: "Never! I'LL RIP YOU LIMB FROM LIMB, TORI! RAAAAARR!"
By the next morning, Anastasia was still in her dinasaur costume. She then tried selling muffins without actually making the muffins first. Bless you, you sweet and slightly dense little girl. (':
Nero: "So Alexis, this is my last wish, correct?"
Alexis: "Correct."
Nero: "Better make it something special... I don't suppose wishing for more wishes is allowed, is it?"
Alexis: "Oh yeah. That whole 'wishing for more wishes is against the rules' thing is total fiction. Just something Disney made up, I guess."
Nero: "Oh. Awesome! I wish for more wishes, then!"
Alexis: "Done!"
Victoria rolled the wish to egg somebody's house, and I'd never had one of my teens do that before, so... that happened. :D
Victoria: "That was the absolute greatest moment of my existance."
That's probably accurate.
That evening, Anastastia had her birthday and aged up into this gorgeous being. Her fourth trait is Photographer's Eye, making her a disciplined, slobby loner with an eye for photography.
Her first act as a teen is to read to her little brother. Aw. ♥
Cornflower is wondering why they're doing this in her bed, as she was under the impression that Magnus had a functional bed of his own. But she's a good great-grandmother and doesn't say anything.
As you all know, Victoria is mean spirited. And because of this, she often picks fights with people, and sometimes her father is one of those people.
Victoria: "OH MY GOD DAD, HOW COULD YOU DO THAT? GOD, YOU'RE SO SELFISH SOMETIMES!"
Andre: "Look, sweetheart, I'm sorry for leaving the toilet seat up, but it was one time. Can't you cut dear old dad a little slack?"
Victoria: "...NO."
Anastasia: "Hey Tori, wanna spar? I figured since we're both disciplined, this could be a pretty good match."
Victoria: "Sure thing, twerp! I'd like nothing more than to hand your ass to you."
Victoria: "Let's do this."
Anastasia: "You're on."
Anastasia: "Now, don't think you can go easy on me just because I'm younger then you!"
Victoria: "Oh, don't worry. I won't."
Victoria: "Nice duck, twerp! You're not half-bad!"
Anastasia: "Yeah, maybe you could stand to learn a thing or two from me!"
Victoria ended up winning in the end.
Victoria: "Nicely done, Ana. You're pretty good, surprisingly."
Anastasia: "Thanks, Tori. You're not so bad yourself."
Victoria: "But I still totally whooped your ass. Yay me!"
Anastasia: "Oh yeah? Well now I'm a GREEN BELT, jealous yet Tori?"
Victoria: "Y'know, that color totally clashes with your hair."
Anastasia: "...Shut uuuuup!"
Victoria then went outside to mock her aunt for being a genius.
Victoria: "You're always going on and on about how smart you are, Aunt Ruth. Well guess what, I just beat your daughter at a sim fu sparring match! Would a smart sim have a daughter that sucks at Sim Fu? I think not! Ha! Hahaha!"
Ruth: "That doesn't even make any sense, Victoria." This girl, honestly...
Ruth also had her adult birthday. Still gorgeous, bb.
Nero: "I have one last wish, Alexis, and this one's for you. I wish you were free!"
Alexis: "W-what? Really? You mean that? In all my years, all those years of being stuffed into a lamp... no one has ever wished to free me. You don't know what this means to me, Nero. I will not forget this kindness."
Nero: "Yeah well, y'know... you've been so good to me, so I really wanted to do something nice for you. You deserve it, Alexis."
Alexis: "And so it shall be done! But there are a few things you have to do with my lamp first..."
Alexis: "First you must freeze it. Place it in your refridgerator."
Nero: "Alright..."
Alexis: "Next, it must burn with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns! So just put it in the oven."
Nero: "O...kay?"
Alexis: "Finally, bring it to the mausoleum."
Nero: "..The mausoleum? B-but my son went on a field trip there once. He didn't speak for days. Days, Alexis!"
Alexis: "If you truly want to free me, it must be done!"
Nero: "Alright already, I'm going! Sheesh."
Several hours later...
Nero: "I have seen horrible... unspeakable things."
Nero: "This had better work, Alexis..."
Alexis: "You're tellin' me! If I have to spend another thousand years in that stupid lamp, there will be hell to pay."
Alexis: "I think it's working! Nero Bifrost, you are the greatest person I have ever met!"
Nero: "Uh.. thank you?"
Alexis: "Who's a free genie? That's right, this gal!"
Nero: "I'm glad I could help, Alexis. You've become a good friend of mine over the years, and it makes me happy to see you so happy."
Alexis: "Aw, Nero. You're so sweet. These are for you." *wink*
Nero: "WHOA NOW, ALEXIS. THIS MAN'S HAPPILY MARRIED WITH TWO CHILDREN. But uh.. I appreciate it? Let's just be friends and not let it get weird, deal?"
Alexis: "Yeah, I guess your right. Even if there's no fun in that. Deal."
Nero had another show that night, and Alexis showed up to show her support.
Alexis: "WOO! That's my former master up there! Break a leg, Nero!"
Nero: "Oh.. hey, thanks Alexis!"
And break a leg he did (figuratively, of course). He even showed off a new move on stage.
Nero: "Thank you, thank you. You're too kind!"
Prom night for the girls. They don't have dates (mostly because they have yet to meet any fellow teenagers) so they're going together.
Victoria: "You better not embarrass me, Ana. I don't want to have to pretend I don't know you."
Anastasia: *sigh* "Whatever you say, Tori."
Victoria:
• had an awesome prom picture
• was voted Prom Queen
• hoped they'd play her favorite song
• thought the backdrop for prom pictures looked amazing
• saw someone wearing the same dress as her
• wanted to set a booby trap, but there were chaperones everywhere so she decided against it
Tori had a pretty tame night, aside from being voted Prom Queen.
Anastasia:
• had a mishap on the dancefloor and fell flat on her face
• had an awesome prom picture
• started to have feelings for somebody named Carlo
• spotted a three-eyed llama
• took out her aggression on a nerdy classmate, but was embarrassed when he faught back
I guess Anastasia had a slightly more interesting night.
Welp, ending the chapter on a pretty uneventful note this time.

• Time to go play the Bifrosts some more
