WARNINGS: Language, adult themes, and lots and lots of Sim Fu.
Previously in The Bifrost Family Awesomesauce Challenge:
November gave birth to a baby girl named Lusa. Cornflower became a classy old lady. Lusa aged from baby to toddler to child to teen pretty quickly because I forgot to adjust my age spans. Autumn moved out. November fell pregnant again and gave birth to a little boy this time, who was named Nero. Nero aged from baby to toddler to child. Billy completed his LTW. November became pregnant a third and final time and gave birth to another girl, Kala. Go!
We begin this chapter with Billy surprising Cornflower with a gift.
Billy: “I have a surprise for you, Corny! Just think of it as a belated birthday present.”
Cornflower: “Oh Billy, you shouldn’t have! I thought I told you I didn’t want anything for my birthday.”
Billy: “I know, but.. you really deserve this. Go on, open it.”
Cornflower: “Wait, Billy. Is this what I think it is?”
Billy: “If you were thinking Young Again potion, then yes, it’s exactly what you think it is!”
Cornflower: “Billy... I’m sorry, but I can’t accept this. You can’t expect me to drink this potion, become young again, and live nearly a second lifetime without you!”
Billy: “That’s exactly what I expect you to do, and what I hope you will do. I know how important your music is to you, and even though you’re already an expert bass and guitar player, you’ve still got drums and piano to explore. I’ve already done everything I’ve wanted to accomplish in life. I don’t believe you have, and that isn’t fair. So please, Corny. Just drink the potion. Give yourself some extra time to accomplish your goals. And don’t worry about me, I don’t plan on dying any time soon-”
Cornflower: “But that’s the thing, nobody does!”
Billy: “I know that. Just please, do this for me. I’ll be able to rest easy knowing that you’ve accomplished all you set out to do, knowing that you’re happy.”
Cornflower: “Are you sure about this?”
Billy: “More sure than I’ve ever been about anything in my entire life.”
Cornflower: “...Fine. I’m still not exactly thrilled about the idea of living without you, though.”
Billy: “Thank you, Cornflower. You don’t know how happy you’ve made me just now.”
Cornflower: “Thank me? You’ve just done the most selfless thing that anyone’s ever done for me! I should be thanking you, really.”
Billy: “Nonsense. Seeing you smile like this is enough. Now drink the potion already!”
Cornflower: “Alright, alright, just one more thing.”
Cornflower: “Well... here it goes, then.”
Cornflower: “CRAP ON A SPATULA THIS STUFF’S STRONG.”
Cornflower: “Skin... de-wrinkling... pores... shrinking...”
Cornflower: “Aw yeah, look who’s sexified again!”
Nice... outfit, if you can call it that. To the dresser!
Muuuuch better.
Cornflower: “Awesome. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to bang the hell outta my drums.”
So um. Nero’s IF Shadow isn’t a doll anymore. Yup.
Speaking of which, Nero seems to have taken over his grandparents’ computer.
Nero: “I hereby declare that ALL INTERNETZ ARE BELONG TO ME. YOU HEAR THAT GOOGLE? YOU’RE MINE.”
Nero: “And furthermore, all users of Facebook, Tumblr, and LiveJournal will be known as my royal subjects. In other words: bow down, bitches.”
I worry about this kid’s sanity sometimes.
Cornflower mastered the drum skill! Now she’s just got piano to learn.
And guess what else? Master athletic skill: ( √ ) :D
Also, Billy painted a lovely portrait of November that now hangs in November and Pumpkin’s bedroom.
Lusa went home with September and Jelly Bean’s son Amos one day, and this is their house. Looks like they’re not doing too bad for themselves.
Here’s Amos, almost all grown up. He’d be really cute with a different hairstyle and less crazy eyebrows. But other than that, he’s a nice blend of his parents.
And here’s their daughter, who I didn’t even know existed until this moment! I think her name is Paulette and she is a cutie pie.
Also, Jelly Bean now has a career in law enforcement! Not sure where September was, maybe at work coaching toddlers or something. Anyway, Lusa didn’t really do anything interesting there (just her homework) so that’s why there aren’t any pictures of her.
However, she did do something interesting once she got home.
Black Cat’s real! I think I’m gonna start calling her Kat from now on, now that she’s human. Her traits are daredevil, athletic, easily impressed, and mooch. She and Lusa are turning into little gossip queens.
Lusa: “Oh my god, like, my brother Nero? Doesn’t he just suck so much?”
Kat: “Oh my god, he so totally does!”
Lusa: “Heheheh.”
Looks like Kat became real just in time, because it’s prom night! Neither girls have a date, so they’re going alone together. If that makes sense.
Nero: “Good luck finding a guy at prom that won’t hurl at the sight of you.”
Lusa: “Good luck finding a girl period.”
And so Kat took a limo...
Kat: “Well, this is... spacious.”
...While Lusa biked.
Lusa: “Hey. I’m fighting pollution and obesity at the same time!”
Your mother’s starting to rub off on you, isn’t she? :/
And so here’s how prom went for the girls:
Lusa:
• spotted a wardrobe malfunction
• hoped they’d play her favorite song
• thought the backdrops for prom pictures looked amazing
• was voted prom queen, as you can see here
Kat:
• spotted a boy named Ethan on the dance floor and said “WHAT A JOKE!”
• spotted someone trying to hit on her crush, causing a fight to break out
• had a mishap on the dance floor and fell flat on her face
• also spotted a wardrobe malfunction
• was denied for a dance, so she decided to dance by herself for the rest of the night
Kat had a shitty night. Also she did quite a bit of spotting.
Pumpkin’s birthday was the next morning.
Aaand he looks the same!
November also had a birthday. She makes really cute/derpy birthday faces. :3
Also looks basically the same.
Yet another birthday! Time for Kala to become a big kid.
Kala’s third trait is hydrophobic, making her a couch potato, a virtuoso, and hydrophobic. I almost feel like she’s too happy-looking for this gen.
Seriously. I think Kala’s the black sheep of this generation because she’s so happy all the time and... normal.
Kat: “..The fuck?”
Autumn whoopie cushioned that couch way back when she was a teen, and someone is just sitting there now. xD I don’t know why this is so funny to me.
Kat: “Laugh at me and I will EAT YOUR SOUL.”
Once a creepy imaginary friend, always a creepy imaginary friend?
Now that November’s mastered the athletic skill, she’s begun working at becoming a Sim Fu master. And when she’s training, let me tell you, she becomes one bad bitch.
November: “Touch me and I will destroy you. Destroy you.”
She’s leveling up pretty quickly.
November: “I WILL BURY YOU AAGHHGAHHAGHA.”
Kala: “Mom? You high kicked the toilet again.”
November: “Shhh, quiet sweetheart. Mommy’s trying to channel a tiger.”
Just a sweet little Cornflower/Billy moment. ♥
Charcoal isn’t a doll anymore either now. And Cornflower’s still oblivious as ever.
Cornflower: “This is some damn good cake.”
Aw, look! This cute little guy walked right up to the Bifrosts’ front porch.
Only to die five seconds later. Oh god. ):
I haven’t had a pet die yet in TS3, but I gotta say... it’s a strange process. Bye porch kitty, you will be missed. Even though I only knew you for five seconds. But still.
Nero was unaffected. He just continued having a pillow fight with the air.
Nero: “Oh Shadow, you’re my best friend!”
And only friend. Who’s tried to bail on him. Several times.
Seriously.
But no matter, it’s time for Nero’s birthday!
Kala: “Mom says you enter adolescence today or something like that. Is it painful? OH GOD it sounds painful.”
LOL WAIT WHAT YOU’RE GORGEOUS?! I seriously was not expecting that! Nero’s fourth trait is clumsy, making him a genius, perceptive, a snob, and clumsy.
I’m beginning to worry about what Charcoal deems as appropriate conversation topics for an eight year old.
This song is always in my head when November trains. xD
Kala: “Our teacher assigned us homework tonight, oh goodie! Aren’t you excited, Nero?”
Nero: “Yeah, I’m excited to get the fuck out of this house and away from this insane family- I mean. Sure, Kala. I’m freakin’ stoked.”
Kala: “Yay, homework party!”
Nero: “Jesus fucking christ, can’t you guys like, take her somewhere else?”
Lusa: “You know what they say, misery loves company.”
Nero: “..I hate my life.”
Lusa: “I hate your life too, Nero.”
Now that she’s mastered drums, Cornflower has moved on to piano!
She doesn’t always play in the most convenient places, though.
Cornflower: ♪♫ “OOOOOHHHH shooower, you make me smell pretty as a floooower, I could stay in you for hooourrs, oooohoohhh shooowowerrrr... also I had sex in you once and that was pretty cool OOOOOHOOHOH SHOWER.” ♪♫
