Thanks, hun! Izzie is easily my favorite Grey's character. I just love her so much. And I haven't forgotten about the Izzie/Devon/Oz, either. ;)

I love this, Mar. I'm so glad to see you writing fic again. This is so pretty. You do such lovely melancholy Izzie-voice. Great descriptions of the church, too -- I could see it all in my head, but it wasn't too much and I didn't get bored waiting through it. (That's more of a compliment than it sounds; my descriptions are long and require slogging through, so I really admire that you can describe a scene so quickly and simply yet so well.)

Also, I obviously haven't seen GA in forever (read: since the season finale aired) so, was Izzie pregnant? If so, wow, I totally forgot. If not, cool twist! :)

Thanks, sweetie. I'm glad to be writing fic again, when I'm able to actually get around to it! I'm glad you liked my Izzie voice and the descriptions. It was almost an excercise in setting a "scene" for me--- I often feel that I'm very good at describing the characters and their actions, but that they're just kind of floating in space. When I last took a Creative Writing class, one of the main criticisms I got was that I didn't do enough setting, so I've been consciously trying to work on that. I'm glad you thought it came out well!

And, no, Izzie is not pregnant in canon. Just in my twisted little brain. :)

Yeah, I know. While the writers do love their melodrama, I don't think they'd lay it on quite as thick as me. I may or may not be working on a story where Izzie and George find out they're secretly brother and sister. Cuz I'm sick.
