[[Good afternoon, Johto. Have you noticed how it has gotten a tad chillier as of late? I bet you have.

So has Rose, judging from the fact she's wearing her light jacket once more. Of course, the cold is not what she is here to discuss.

No, it's the rain she is interested about.]]I have a few questions. I've done a little venturing of my own ( Read more... )

Do really think they sell clothes fur our pokémon!?

Well, I would hope so at the very least. They do sell costumes, so surely clothes couldn't be out of the question, right?

I didn't even know they sold clothes fur them! I need to go to these store places! I don't think Pounce likes the rain very much.

So why do you need the tarp fur?

I wouldn't blame him. It would certainly be good to purchase him at least something warm, in case they don't sell raincoats. Goldenrod, from my knowledge, has the widest selection. Your best bet would be to shop there.

Ah, I aim to waterproof my bags. While sleeping, I can simply keep them within a tent, but during travel I'm not exactly able to do such a thing. Lining them with tarp would hopefully do well in keeping the water from ruining anything, such as my journals. I would hate to lose those.

Tarp?
What do you need a tarp for

Lining my bags to make sure they are well protected against the elements.
Rain would surely soak through the fabric, and I really do not need my journals and supplies being ruined by it.

Huh.
If you have things that you want to keep dry I guess that makes sense.
Planning on traveling soon?

Considering it, yes.
Quite some time ago, we spent a few months within Violet, and the ones of us that are left from that time hold quite a bit of disdain for the small town.
I'd rather keep Goldenrod as a pleasant memory, and we're very near the "months" mark of our stay.
Of course, nothing is yet set in stone.
Supplies are needed, as well as discerning who all would wish to accompany us.

Rain, huh? Don't know about America, but about this time of year Tokyo doesn't get much rain at all.

[ Since you said New York, he's assuming you have a Tokyo as well. ]

Indeed, and that would be because you are quite a ways away from the states, wouldn't it? I don't know too much about geography, but the distance between the two would likely make for a bit of a different climate I would figure...Is it warmer, or simply possessing less precipitation?

[[Indeed she does!]]

Seems about the same temperature right now, I'd say. October is usually the last month with any real rain to it until spring.

Mmm, we usually have rain quite a bit longer. Especially in October. Mid to late November is when snow makes an appearance normally.

Tarps. As in something to go over tents? If you're in Goldenrod there's a level on the department store that should have something. That's where I got my bigger backpack.

Indeed. Or at least something that could be used to weatherproof a backpack. And hm. I must have been looking in the wrong areas then.

[[She's not very good at this 'shopping for survival' thing beyond food.]]

[Heh, the problem with being an urbanite.]

Maybe both. Better sleeping bags too.

Come to think of it, I should get a new raincoat too. I haven't seen any where I am though.

Those Pokemon costumes are neat though, aren't they?

Oh no? Perhaps upon visiting you will be able to purchase a new one then. While I have yet to see any for Pokemon, there are certainly plenty for humans.

They really are. From dashing to adorable. Guile really wishes to own a few.

That's right! I'll just get another one when I come to visit!

Heh, they really are! I wonder if Mr. Bear would be all right with a costume. Seeing all these costumes has me excited for Halloween already!

Perhaps I could join you, seeing as I also am in need of a rain coat.

Well you could always see by taking him shopping for some. Ah, Halloween. That is this month, isn't it?
