Well, if the pokemon is going really fast, yeah! But I should be fine, I made sure I have extra straps on the saddle to keep me on in case of an accident.

Well, you never know if you don't try! I guess it kind of helps to have a pokemon you can ride, though. [Ritz turns the gear to show Brenda, who looks just thrilled with being saddled.]

Plus, wouldn't it be hard to touch a ghost, let alone sit on it? [Ritz doesn't like ghosts ANYWAY, after what happened with the Shedinja...]

Wow, was it really easy to get?

And umm... I'm still in Violet, so trying out jousting for me wouldn't really work all that well. But I hope you have fun at least!

Well, my starter's a pretty high level and a flying-type, and then I have a high-leveled fire-type, too! So yeah, it was really easy.

Aww. Well, maybe if we run into each other later we can joust sometime!

Neither have I! It seems like you basically have to re-learn everything you'd know about fighting on your own two feet anyway, so I guess I'll be on even footing with everyone else doing it for a while.

I think that'd be very helpful, actually. I can't imagine anyone not thinking twice about charging head-on when faced with a bird the texture of kitchen knives.
