[ The video feed clicks on and the first thing that the camera shows is the dirt ground beyond a ridiculously cracked screen. It stays that way and the audio is muffled, probably because of a hand being placed over the mic by accident (or has it been done on purpose?). That's weird. My Pokémon haven't been affected, either. Maybe Pokémon don't have souls, or since Shedinja are Pokémon, they won't steal other Pokemon's souls out of some weird courtesy or something. Maybe only human souls are good enough.

Yeah, got out just a few hours ago and it can be either of those reasons. The Pokedex doesn't say anything but just sucking souls in general.

Doing alright. It shouldn't be long till I reach Mahogany and buy some supplies.

[ Thank goodness there was ice and snow in that place, so water was no problem. Food? Well... not so lucky there. ]
