oo15: [video/action for Violet City Pokecenter]

Jan 14, 2011 05:21

[Ciel can be found in the Pokémon Center in the wee hours of the morning. It's so early, that it's still somewhat dark outside, though the sky is beginning to light up. He's spent the entire night slaughtering Pokémon out on route 32 after this thread here. He'll suffer from it on top of everything else. A cold isn't far off ( Read more... )

[Uh-oh. Chrome takes off from the Inn to the Pokemon Center, face set in a worried frown.]

Ciel-san?

[just enjoy the mental image of Chrome in a towel, Ciel.

however, Chrome looks mildly horrified and makes a few odd squeaking noises] I...I thought as much, But I... I-I thought it a bit odd he didn't stop once he got down to-- [her underwear. Oh god. She's so red right now and looks kind of like she wants to jump out a window. Or off a bridge.]

[towel dreams tonight. Let's just hope they don't turn into nightmares with Sebastian taking advantage of her. And possibly Tangelas or something.

Oh no! Now she's all flustered, and he's not sure what to do. Lizzie hardly ever gets flustered like this, and he's not sure how to deal with it]

If he offers to do it again, just tell him no. If he tries anyway... hit him with a lamp again, or something heavier... or sharper.

[He sighs and sits back slightly. He'd pulled the ice pack away from his face in all this commotion about Sebastian 'molesting' Chrome, but it had done it's job, the side of his face is all numb from the cold. It would be better to talk about something else now.]

I should introduce you to Elizabeth sometime. She would love to meet you.

[She just. Nods mutely. Sobbing on the inside.

OH THANK GOD NEW TOPIC. But one that still makes her a little uneasy] O-oh.. Are you sure she'd like me...?

I've yet to meet anyone Lizzie doesn't like. She's quite outgoing and friendly. [And the OPPOSITE of Ciel here.] Though, I should prepare you, she can be a little overbearing, but she always means well. [Just like the sun.

The opposite of me. [Well, Chrome's friendly. Kind of. Just stand-offish and more likely to run away from kindess, though she's mostly grown out of that now.]

Um, I'll do my best anyhow... I'd like to meet her.

Hmm, I often think of her as my opposite as well. Many would call me unfriendly. I'll probably talk to her later today, so perhaps tomorrow?

I don't think you're unfriendly. You're...aloof. And hard to get to know; but...

[She pauses, unsure where she's going with that but] Are we...friends...?

Tomorrow would work fine. I don't have anything to do.

[Friends...? The question catches him offguard. Ciel hasn't made any friends in years. He doesn't need friends. Only pawns.

He has to admit though, he doesn't mind Chrome. She doesn't annoy him like most people do. She's probably as close to a friend as he's going to get, considering he won't allow himself to make actual friends.]

I do consider you an ally, yes, Miss Chrome.

I'll talk to Elizabeth when I see her then. I'm sure she'll be overjoyed. [He rolls his eyes up in exasperation. Elizabeth was overjoyed about everything.]

You can be an ally with someone without being their friend, or even liking them. [her mind is on the Shimon Family, and she stares at a spot on the floor] B-but... I'm not complaining, I... care about you. [it's spoken slowly, like she's testing the words out, and she glances at him through her lashes.]

...I look forward to it.

[Once again she's caught him a bit off guard. She... cared about him? He'd hardly known her two months. He supposed some people were like that, however, and he had been nothing but polite to her. Though he did feel a bit compelled to reassure her.]

Don't take it personally. It's not that I dislike you... I just... I don't have friends. Not anymore. [Not in four years. He had servants, he had acquaintances, he had allies yes, he had pawns, he had Elizabeth and her family, but he didn't have 'friends'.]

I understand. I never had friends. [She was too 'strange,' too 'aloof' and everyone thought she thought she was 'too good' for them.]

I... would like to change that, though. Some day. [it's left open for debate on if she's talking about herself or him there]

[He watches her thoughtfully for a moment, almost a little envious. She was lucky. As far as he knew her fate wasn't already set in stone. Not that he cared that his was. He had already made up his mind when he agreed to the contract, and nothing was going to change that.

After a moment he shakes his head, offering a bit of a wry smile.]

I imagine you will.

[She glances to him, quiet, before looking away again to quell the sudden urge to brush his hair aside. Her fingers curl into fists at her side]

I can arrange a meeting between you and Boss. With everything happening, I've completely forgotten--if you still want to meet him.

I am, indeed, still interested in meeting your boss. [He wonders what kind of man leads this Vongola Family Chrome has told him some about.]

A lot has been going on, so it's understandable.
