It means everything is pretty damn boring when you get transferred to some shitty nothing town where nothing happens. It's all gossip and rumors - even the most insignificant thing will get those idiots talking. What the hell's the point, in that case?

It's a real pill. Hell, I'd even say it's good to be out of there, but this place is even more dull. More pointless. What a waste.
