Team! Awww poor Ianto and ouch for Owen and Tosh as collateral damage in Gwen's quest for "must put things right". I love Owen and Tosh in here.

Thank you. I am having a lot of fun with Owen and Tosh. They're such great characters - I'm really going to miss them.

I think you got Gwen down perfectly in the marriage discussion -- she's both frustrating and admirable at the same time. Frustrating because she is so single minded, because she tries to make everyone fit into her worldview, and admirable because she never stops looking for answers, because she never thinks that giving up is an option. It's Gwen all over.

I am so happy to hear you say this because this chapter has been the hardest one to get right and even as I posted I was unsure. Thank you!

no neeed to worry you nailed gwen perfectly. you captured the gwen that i have an intense love/hate relationship with, the strong gwen of exit wounds taking charge to save cardiff and torchwood. the gwen of combat and adrift who can berate jack about his treatment of people yet see doesn't see the irony in her own treatment of rhys and nb &andy.
loved tosh and gwen's exchange, just wish the show had shown more interaction between the two women.
my highest praise goes to the way you treat ianto and jack as two slightly screwed up adults trying to navigate a relationship with more issues then niagara falls has rocks at its base. you treat them both with respect and understanding, thank you.
with each chapter it is like looking at a favorite painting and discovering something new to admire.
ps. i am convinced that donna noble is descended from alisoun that is how much i love them both.

Thank you for all the feedback! I'm very glad to hear that I got Gwen right. Yeah, I wish we had been given more between Tosh and Gwen.

I never thought of the characters that way, but you are so right! Donna has to be a descendant of Alisoun. They are very much alike (and I love them both, too).

Another great chapter. You're characterisation of Gwen is perfect, it strikes a strange balance between exasperation and vague admiration. I love Tosh in this as well, she isn't passive which I think is very true to form. I really enjoyed it, as always :)

Thank you! When I saw Fragments, I knew that I had been right about Tosh when I though of her as tough and decisive and unwilling to just give up.
