Fic Ideas

Looking back, my most recent journal entries are a bit...well, not happy...to say the least. So I figure I should post about something not so frustrating or depressing. But the only thing I can think about posting right now are some fic ideas I mentioned before. Nothing too specific, just a little synopsis of the fics.

Thanks! I'm hoping I can write it sometime, but I kind of want to wait and see what other kinds of Creature Powers the boys get first. Which...might take a while, but we'll see ^^;

(lol I do too, to be honest. They're a lot of fun XD)

Those are the 40 eps for the first season. Apparently, PBS wants a second season, but there's no confirmation for it as of yet.

All of the KFP ideas are great. And don't worry, you're not crazy with the Soothsayer and Shifu story. I think I've even seen it touched on briefly in a few fics I read (nothing devoted to just it to my knowledge though). There really is a sense of Soothsayer regretting that she has to carry the burden of watching Shen destroy himself and others because of her prediction. I mean, she seems like she's come to accept it at most points of the film, but there are moments where it's just her and Shen that you see she totally did care for him and hated seeing him the way he is. At one point in production she was supposed to be his nanny, but I'm not sure if that was ever made canon. The basis of their relationship is pretty much left ambiguous in the film, but most people are running with the nanny thing to my knowledge. So yeah, I'd say she and Shifu would have that connection if you went with the premise :)

All of these are great. I have a million and one fanfic ideas myself for KFP it seems, but...no time to write them.

Yeah, I've seen the Soothsayer portrayed as Shen's nanny in fics too. It would've been interesting to see how that would've been done in the movie, though.

Awesome. I was worried that just having the Soothsayer and Shifu interacting would've been a little weird ^^;;

And thanks! There's just something about the movies that just sparked my brain, but I also have little time to write them. *sigh* Well, here's hoping we can find some time soon.

Ooh, I would love to see a fic where one of the Kratt's gets brainwashed and the other tries to snap him back to normal. Ilove those kinds of plots! I hope you write it one day!
