[Misaki is standing at the counter of the Violet City Pokemon Center. He looks a bit tired, but he's been getting better at this traveling thing so he's a lot less bushed than he was the last few times he traveled so hard.]
Hey guys. Usagi-san--that is, my friend, Usami Akihiko--and I just got to Violet. We'll be around the area for a while, doing some training and sightseeing. [Suddenly his face turns sour and he glares over his shoulder.] That is, if I can get Usami-san to see reason.
[He makes his way over to a couch on the far wall of the Pokemon Center where Usami is more or less strung out everywhere. He looks half-dead after all the traveling. Misaki pokes him hard in the shoulder, but Usami barely raises his head to give him a dark look. Usami doesn't do well with all this traveling by foot nonsense.]
Come on! You can't just laze around all day. We haven't even checked into our hotel yet. And didn't you say you wanted to sign up for a job or something when we got here? Oi! Usagi-san!
Misaki...
Huh? [For a split second, all that can be seen is Usami reaching for Misaki's arm, then there's a sudden yank and the PokeGear falls to the ground and the feed cuts out.]
