The Easiest Yummy Scones Evar

So, my MIL left me with this awesomely simple scone recipe back in February that I just now got around to trying, and I had to share it as it's so easy and delicious.

Sara Moulton Scone Recipe (a little altered)

Step 1 Ingredients
2 C All-Purpose Flour
1 1/2 T Baking Powder
3 T Sugar
1/2 t Salt

It's also EASIER. I've seen and tasted luscious scones made with butter, but you have to cut the butter so it's just a PITA, though I did see a trick on America's Test Kitchen where they used a cheese grater to grate frozen butter. Smart idea. ;-)

I'll have to try the recipe, with your variations over apricots. It looks ridiculously simple and sounds yum.
