It just proves he's not the RADIKEWL LIBRUL!!!11 he's been accused of being. Though why he sat down with McCain after being race baited the entire campaign is beyond me. I'd have said fuck you, old man.

Maybe he is baiting him. Dangling the meat in front of him but never going to feed him.

It's not at all what I wanted, but it's exactly what I expected. Obama's part of the same "two-party" machine, the republicrats, whose differences boil down to your stance on abortion and possibly same-sex marriage.

I'm glad Obama beat McCain, but I am still thankful that I voted for Ron Paul, and feel that he was the REAL change candidate.

I think that Hillary as Secretary of State is an excellent choice; that takes advantage of her best skills and compensates for an area where Obama isn't as good. Otherwise, I'm not thrilled by the selection of so many business-as-usual politicians. I'm also not surprised. It's Obama's way of keeping the system running so he can do something with it -- otherwise they'd probably just lock him out altogether. He's very much a team player in a ways that not much of America sees very often.

Heh ... I also expect that he's able to make an end-run around everyone when he needs to.

With the current status of our government I feel very reassured about the choices Barack Obama is making. We do not have time to go through a training course but must be effective from the day the new term starts.
