I think high-minded rhetoric (followed through by real action) is what we need and want at this time. If Obama really does change the economy with green jobs, that would be fantastic.

Being that we're well past peak oil, energy demand is going to exceed demand sooner then later. You can drill all the wildlife preserves all you want, our lifestyle is simply not sustainable without sources of energy other then fossil fuels.

Apollo project or not, there will indeed be a shift to nuclear/wind/solar. Obama can only speed/ease the transition which might be more resistant without gov't help.

Everyone has a chance, but McCain's flower has lost it's bloom.

I would advise every Obama supporter to ignore the polls and get out there and vote. Over-confidence can cost him the election, without a doubt. Never count any chickens before they've hatched. The only numbers that matter are those that come in on Tuesday night. I think this race is going to be closer than the polls might have us believe.

I agree. I plan to get out there and vote first thing in the morning! I don't even care if I'm late for work!
I need to vote because I share an office with McCain supporters and somebody has to stand up to them!
