So apparently there's this court case going on right now where a man named Christopher Handley, from Iowa, is facing 20 years in prison for simply having "obscene" manga in his private possession. IIRC, The CBLDL helps people facing criminal charges connected to comics pay for their legal fees (thus the fund raising) and offers general legal support. It was spun off of fund raising done for a case where a retailer was charged with selling "obscene" comics. They're been around a fair while - I have episodes of Prisoners of Gravity that discuss it back in the early 1990s. In this case, the CBLDL is acting at least as a consultant, from what I can find ( ... )

WTF?!?! That's such bullshit. Ugh... Porn is a pretty big industry here in the US T__T How is yaoi manga worse than that. And whut 20 years?!?! The poor guy! I hope he gets a good lawyer DDDD:
