I'm currently on volume 11 of Furuba right now. I really can't get over how good a story it is; all of the characters are so real. Well, their personalities are kind of exaggerated but it's so easy to relate to them all

I think it's good to be a bit more balanced than Tohru is. I think she gives too much for others and leaves little for herself. Being that unselfish and that humble is just as destructive as the reverse. I try and live simply for a while: cooking a nice meal every night, keeping my place really clean, mostly reading as a hobby. But then I need to start living less day-to-day and less simply and focus on bigger aims.

Oh, for sure! Tohru has problems of her own but she's so unselfish that she can't bring herself to bother anyone else with them... that's really not healthy at all. It's really interesting to read further into the story and see how her character becomes... uhm.. darker, I guess? ^^

I like living day-to-day... but you're right, if you don't think about the future at all, you just sort of start to feel a bit lost. Still, I think that cleaning the dishes every night before going to bed is something that I can only benefit from. ^^;;; (I tend to leave them for days before cleaning them... I'm so horrible!! The rest of my place is good though, at least. ^^)
