Unless you want to hit up the ROM for creative inspiration. I haven't been to the crystal yet, mostly because I'm not sure if the crystal is empty or has galleries yet.

I'm feeling burnt out myself, mostly because of the computer restoration WITHOUT END. Let's geek things up! :D

I totally want to go out and see the Islands, but my schedule is soooo packed. x_x I've been trying to plan a little housewarming party for myself (finally) but every weekend has been busy so far. I think I'm actually booked until after July 7. :| There's always some kind of event taking place.

I think the ROM is completely empty right now. They just finished construction on the crystal and opened it to the public for at least one weekend, but no galleries were on display. I think the dinosaur and mammal exhibits come back sometime in Fall 2007, though. It's a little way's off, but it'll get here before we know it. XD

I'll try to figure out a good time to go out and do something like that. I'd like to just meet up after work sometime too. ^^

I'm under the impression that the new galleries don't exist yet but the old ones are there. I don't want to cough up the dough to visit a half empty ROM, though. Word is they've already spiked the price of the cheap nights.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind just hanging out. I'm good for most nights, but can only really stay late on Fridays, given that I'd have to commute back to the Hammer afterwards.

LOL! Not normally. :) I guess it's just been these two months that have been especially jam-packed.

I think some of the old ones closed too, so they could be relocated. Don't quote me on that one, though. I'd rather pay to see everything in one visit so I don't have to fork over even more money... and yeah, the "cheap nights" used to be free nights. Every Friday was free admission from 4:30 - 9:00pm. I think it was probably about a year ago that they started charging a $5 admission and who knows what it is now. x_x I guess $5 is better than $20, anyway.

Totally understandable about the Friday nights thing. If you were up for doing anything this Friday, I'd be game. :) I haven't had any sushi in a while!

By the time I reached the 2nd paragraph of your post, it just depresses me too- because I know exactly how you feel in regards to not being able to be as involved online as you used to. It's how I'm feeling most of the time these days as well. It really does get rather difficult, to balance a full-time job with online hobbies (especially ones that include running sites).

And I agree- the layout's pretty. I was quite amazed when I first saw it and learned that it's an LJ layout that even basic accounts can use.

Aw, thanks! I AM feeling better right now. Usually, I can get by with feeling pretty good but there's always those really low points, you know? I'm actually working on a wallpaper right now. It's been so long that I'm just sort of warming up again. ^^

I'd really like to read all of Furuba in one go and update my Kyo shrine. I took the 28th off so maybe I'll get something done then... Heck, maybe I can even look at it now, since I'm in the mood. X3

But to go back on track... XD Hehe. Balancing a full-time job and hobbies is really hard. I do graphic design all day and even though I have the will to work on stuff when I get home at night, I just don't have the creative energy. It's also hard when you've been out of the loop for so long too. :| But I think if you try hard enough, you can get back to it. XD
