I'm afraid I won't have any photos for a few months yet. ^^ We won't be moving in until January and we'll have to decorate the place before I can show it off. XD;; But I will post pics when we get settled in!
YAY, CONGRATS! XD Now I have an excuse to come visit you! ♥
Just a quick question- How much warning do they give before fumigating? Hopefully it's a week or two in advance, but mom and I believe that fumigating lead to the death of one of our cats. You need enough time to find a comfortable place for your kitty to stay for a few days, even if the fumigation only takes one day. Play it safe and keep her out a day or two past when they tell you the gas is "gone." Animals are more sensitive to that crap than we are.
Also remember that cats can be expensive, especially if you want to get them high-quality food (minus the soy and grains that cats can't digest- a lot of foods use those things for filler). Don't get one until you're steady in your job and have a nice chunk of savings. :3
I can't wait until we're settled in well enough for you to come visit us. X3!! It'll be so exciting! <3<3<3
I'm not sure how much warning they will be giving before fumigating. We never really asked because it hadn't occurred to us at this point in time, but I suspect it'll be at least a few days in advance. I remember you telling me about your cat that died because of fumigation though... so we'll be sure to find a good home for our kitty for the time it takes in order for the fumigation to clear. ^_^
We won't be getting a cat at all until we're all settled in; buying furnature, monthly passes for the city transport and food for ourselves are far more important than owning a pet. Besides, it wouldn't be fair to the cat at all either if we couldn't afford to properly feed or take care of it, right? :3 I want one really badly but I also want it to be healthy and happy. <3
congratulations missy! that's a good area too- about 6minutes away from my old place :) your pretty much right downtown- i definately suggest taking the spadina streetcar to go to Kensington Market for groceries- I miss that place >_<
roaches? we didn't have any- then again we weren't on the main floor- i'd suspect 7th floor would be fine :)
Yeah, Parkdale is becoming the new Beaches. X3 I'm really excited that we were able to get an apartment in such a nice area and for such a good deal. I also love how close we are to the downtown area... just take the Queen St. street car and we're in the heart of the city in a matter of minutes! X3 I'm so excited to get down there and see in better the area that we'll be in. So exciting!! XD
About the roaches - Steve and I didn't think we'd really find any on the 15th floor, especially if we were keeping clean. ^^
